Submission Guidelines for First Chapter Portal Project (Vol 1-3)
Submission guidelines for Portal Project First Chapter Collections:
1. Submit the following to pauline@paulinebjones.com in .doc or docx format with YOUR VOLUME # IN THE SUBJECT LINE:
2. Permission - I, YOUR LEGAL NAME, give permission for Pauline Baird Jones, acting on behalf of Science Fiction Romance Brigade, to include this excerpt of INSERT YOUR TITLE HERE, in PORTALS (YOUR VOLUME HERE). I understand that the collection will be distributed for free for the purposes of encouraging reader interest in the included novels and the science fiction romance genre. In the event it takes time for the collection to be free at Amazon, I agree that any monies collected will be used to reimburse cover art costs OR for advertising the collection.
In the event that Amazon refuses to price match, any monies collected will be deducted from expenses and then donated to a charity the group approves via majority rules vote and/or the collection will be removed from sale on Amazon and mobi files will be distributed through Book Funnel.
All authors will also receive epub and mobi files to distribute via their personal websites.
By submitting this work, the author warrantees this is their original work and they have the authority and rights to include this sample in the collection.
This collection will remain on sale for at least one year from date of issuance on the first ebook vendor site. Renewable by annual unanimous consent of all authors each year. Pauline Baird Jones or her designee will conduct an annual vote of the affected authors via method of her choosing and announce the results via the same method. Vote shall be conducted not less than thirty (30) days prior to the 365th day of book availability in the cycle of publication. If I have to remove my sample from the collection prior to one year, I agree to reimburse Pauline Baird Jones costs of removal up to $50 or the cost of redoing the cover art, which ever is less.

ONLY one set of book links per person.
6. A short paragraph (200-300 words) on why you wrote this book or something you’d like to share about the book.
7. Your bio and social media links (same as above)
Submission deadline for all three collections is March 24, 2016.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. I need your actual links, not formatted links for my formatting program, or your submission will be rejected. Corrected entries can be resubmitted by the deadline.
